Most "AI clip" tools pick the loudest minute of your video. Clipper reads the transcript with your context (the show name, the episode topic, the audience you actually have) and proposes clips with a one-line reason for each. You approve, edit, or trash any cut before export. No cloud upload — the file stays on your disk.
Built on Tauri 2 for a 14 MB native binary, FFmpeg for transcode, and your own Anthropic Claude key for the only network call. The transcript is local Whisper.cpp.
